A nice country pub atmosphere on the outskirts of Peterborough
The food is generously proportioned,
Starting with a pint of Beer from the micro-brewery attached to the pub we sat and considered a menu assembled using mainly local produce.
Ted selected the soup of the day and My good lady ordered the chicken liver pate. Both were excellent
I enjoyed a Tallington Lamb Hotpot and watched a Steak and Kidney Pie put up a heroic job of defeating the good lady.
We then ended up wishing we hadn't eaten all the home made bread when the dessert menu arrived!
Good food, well cooked, served in nice surroundings with a nice selection of beers ... no wonder you have to book at weekends!
The better looking half has been back twice since ... so it can't be more highly recommended!
