March 1986, this place self selected it self as the venue for our first really good meal together, and it was a stunner. Having refused us the most expensive menu for Sunday Lunch-time (not enough time to serve it!) They proceeded to serve up ( with great style and panache) a magnificent 7 course feast, Even after all these years I can still recall the brilliance of the cheese board and the superb chocolate orange dessert.
Brian & Jeanette stayed in the Hotel in 2002, they advise you don't stay, just enjoy the food.
