Restaurante El Tizon

Los Abrigos, Teneriffe

What Ted Thought ***** then in October 2007 ... it was gone Closed!

Just away from the trendy harbour-side restaurants in Los Abrigos ..... the El Tizon serves excellent food both fish and meat accompanied by good wines.

The attention to detail is incredible, handcrafted menus, original art work by local artists, rotated on a monthly basis, (a very humorous  collection while we were there). These little bits and pieces make all the difference.

The 4 course set menu was exceptionally good value for money.

The house wine was really nice .... The Canary Island wine we had on the 2nd visit was better still but I forgot to take a picture or make a note of the name... So silly!

"The Best food I've had in 3 visits to Tenerife" Ted

What they say

The team at the El Tizon  a rather different German & Spanish team.

Claim they create "specialities of Fish and Meat" and invite us to "enjoy the richness of Tenerife with our dishes" and yes we enjoyed their dishes so much we went back the next day.
