At last I remembered to say it first thing, yes it's a "White rabbit" month now lets see what happens!
February 4th
This white rabbit stuff is working ... we've just won the Euro Millions Lottery, unfortunately not the first prize, nor the second but £7.10 (that's about $10) but it's more than loosing!
MaxiMum home for the weekend, unusual for a student no washing to speak of!
February 5th
Busy day, getting rid of my Sony MP3 player, it was falling apart and less than 2 months old, and swapping it for an iPod (of sorts!) That will be fun to reload!
Then Chris from the band had invited me to a meeting of his "Boys Club", nothing unusual in that ... until he turned up to pick me up in the Bentley, how the other half live. So Ted got to play with the Sat Nav all the way to Nottingham (and back too trying to get the night setting working!) I managed to get the camera warnings working just before Chris charged into a a whole forest of the things. (Appropriate for Nottingham I suppose!)
February 6th
This White Rabbit is working well! I was listening to the local Radio and worked out the answer to the Silly Sunday Quiz and just as I phoned the DJ plays the trigger track for the phone in "the CD of the week" contest .... so I've won a triple CD "The Ultimate Party Animal". I spent five minutes chatting with the DJ David Naylor, managed to plug Generation Gap the Ultimate Party Band a couple of times on air too!
Went out to a car wash with HB ended up in this place selling fabulous shower cubicals, with built in CD players, Phones Steam generators all kinds of stuff. Dashed home measured up and decided not to order one. Well the one we wanted with the built in pine sauna was £8000 plus fitting ... shame about the Euro Millions numbers not being quite right enough!
Good news the Band has got it's first gig .... bad news it's while we're on holiday, something about a structure that blocks a river ah yes Damn! Still if we keep up the progress there will be more gigs very soon!
February 7th
Good news after weeks of going for walks in the evening, trying not to eat to excess, avoiding chocolate, drinking very little I have succeeded in not gaining any weight! Wow it was all worth it, I wish I hadn't got on the scales now!
MaxiMum went back to college and the computer is running slower than me.... strange this last happened back in January .. when she went back after Christmas ... coincidence? cock-up? or conspiracy? Well it's reading week soon so I may get another clue then!

Reading week ... and MaxiMums computer isn't working properly .... interesting but not relevant this time!

Hey it's Valentines day.. I cooked a curry for tea, what an old romantic I am, as everyone knows dhansak is the food of love.
February 16th
The boys cub meeting, the star turned up (having missed Decembers meeting) and we have a new member, otherwise it was gloomy news from lots of people with all sorts of health worries. I hope everyone overcomes their problems.
February 18th
MiniMum off skiing for a week .... MaxiMum going back to college .... Off to find some sun. Flying off to the Canary Islands for a short visit to the warm. Booked a nice hotel in Gran Canaria, lets hope it lives up to the blurb!
February 25th
It did in most respects ... full of Germans & food was a bit samey .... but the weather was good enough and the pool was warm enough to swim. Didn't do anything except lay in the sun, the sauna, the pool, walk along the beach and eat all day long. Boy was it cold at Gatwick!
February 26th
MiniMum got back from skiing all in one piece, mind you not all of them did, We have just had a severe weather warning on the radio something about a lot of snow. Well it is certainly cold enough!
